Concept
Each of the colored circles shown on the right represents a company that is owned by the Walt Disney Company (unless otherwise detailed in the legend below). The giant grey Mickey Mouse ears in the background represents the Walt Disney Company’s $59.4 billion annual revenue. The smaller companies’ revenues are also represented relative to each other by size. The companies are mapped out by the date that they were either created or acquired by TWDC starting at the center from 1923 to 2019. The colored circles are grouped together to form the larger divisions in TWDC and they identify which subsidiaries belong to which parent company. The center of the entire infographic represents the start of the Walt Disney Company.
